The Unique DEFCO Heavy Duty Clip

The weak link in many competitor brands is the clip, which binds the wire into its tubular/concertina shape. A weak clip will easily part, providing a quick access point for an intruder.

DEFCO incorporates a unique, heavy-duty steel clip specifically designed to withstand a force of approximately 200 lbs (100 kgs). It cannot be parted by hand or with standard tools, ensuring the integrity of the barrier remains intact.

Blade Profiles

1. Short Blade Profile

This is the original profile of Razor wire barbed tape, developed primarily for military applications. Although it has been mostly replaced by the medium blade in recent years, it is still preferred and specified by some organizations.

2. Medium Blade Profile

An improvement on the short blade offered at a highly cost-effective price level. This is the most widely used profile for standard commercial and industrial high-security applications.

3. Long Blade Profile

A vicious product when manufactured out of toughened stainless steel blade material. It provides maximum deterrent value and is usually specified for prison fencing and military-grade perimeters.
